Our Skunk Rum takes you under the warm skies of Jamaica with its taste notes of black currant, flambéed pineapple, ripe bananas and tropical fruits.

The Concept

Jamaican rum is known for its distinctive taste. The rum is created based on a long fermentation process, as well as the use of unique yeast strains for the fermentation. The methods generates a high content of esters, which adds lots of flavor to the rum, among other things. in the form of fruit notes.

With the Skunk family, our goal has been to bring these methods to Denmark. All four rums are organically certified and filled with taste, aroma and aroma, as well as a high alcohol percentage. Each rum has its unique characteristics, which you can read more about here: The SKUNK Rum,

Spotted SKUNK Rum

Spotted Skunk Rum is produced using a high ester yeast, made to create a lot of esters in rum production, add flavor compounds and give an extra fruity taste and aroma. Spotted Skunk Rum has flavor notes of black currant, flambéed pineapple and tropical fruits, making the rum a perfect match for any daiquiri

The taste

The skunk is known for its ability to form a characteristic odor via glands, which is also flammable. The same goes for our Spotted SKUNK Rum, which has a characteristic aroma and taste of black currants, flambéed pineapple, ripe bananas and tropical fruits. It is also flammable, making it suitable in tiki drinks. We have chosen to maintain a high alcohol content as it contributes to a powerful and flavorful rum
