Striped SKUNK Rum

Striped SKUNK Rum is another amazing, innovative rum in A Clean Spirit´s SKUNK series. Crystal clear content with a pleasant scent of fresh herbs, floral notes and especially mint, based on the 2,5-week long fermentation that the rum has had on custom designed yeast. A truly exciting and challenging rum that, like the other rums in this series, really challenges the classic understanding of what a white rum can and should. A very special, powerful and taste-filled experience. The alcohol and acid appear mild despite the high alcohol percentage and makes this SKUNK-version tailored for tasty, fresh drinks such as a Mojito. 

Striped SKUNK Rum

It is hard not to be drawn by this completely unique and innovative series. These very special rums, with the exception of our HOODED version, is quite uniquely both unaged and has a long fermentation process. These rums are inspired by Jamaica, but are now produced in Paraguay. The long fermentation that is inspired by Jamaican rum production makes it possible to create very powerful and flavourful batches of rom. Following our heartfelt wish to consciously improve the production is being moved to Paraguay where the series can be produced both organically and with a Fair Trade certificate. Each bottle is unique, limited in production and marked by a batch number as well as an individual bottle number – a testament to the uniqueness of this series. 

These rums are bottled in 100% recycled glass with a beautiful artists design printed on 100% recycled paper and finished off with cork stoppers made entirely without the use of glue. The rather unique name for this series stems from the Skunk animal and although one’s thoughts could easily be led astray, the name is a tribute to the powerful flavour and memorable experiences which is exactly what a bottle of SKUNK really is.
